Welcome to the 12th Colchester’s Website

Registered in 1919, 12th Colchester remains one of the region's most vibrant and active scout groups. Our dedicated band of leaders span several generations, but all of them are fully committed to the Purpose of Scouting.

Our main HQ is at Colchester Baptist Church, Eld Lane, CO1 1LS, where we have been based since 1956 and we are always happy to hear from anyone interested in joining us!

Our aim is to encourage our members to:

• Be considerate - respecting each other and the things that make us different
• Try new things - activities, experiences... even foods!
• Express themselves politely and with confidence
• Make new friends and have fun!
